Dr. Hampton Lee Drum was called to Langston Baptist Church as Senior Pastor in May of 2011.   As the son of a Southern Baptist minister, he spent his childhood in various churches across North Carolina. He and his wife, Janice, have been married for twenty seven years. They are blessed with two sons, Westley and Ethan.

He is a native of North Carolina and earned each of his degrees from Southern Baptist Schools in North Carolina. His undergraduate work was completed at Fruitland Baptist Bible Institute and Wingate University. He received his postgraduate degrees from Southeastern Baptist Seminary. He has held numerous Associational and North Carolina State Baptist Positions, and has served on National Level Committees with the Southern Baptist Convention.

He previously served as the Senior Pastor of South River Baptist Church in Statesville, NC, for twenty three years. During his tenure there, he was blessed to see the church experience substantial growth. He is an enthusiastic speaker who is thrilled with the opportunity of proclaiming the unsearchable riches of God’s word.

Rev. Brandon Blair was called to Langston Baptist Church as the student pastor in February of 2012.  He was married to Tristan Blair on June 6th, 2009. Brandon is a graduate of Harnett Central High School in Angier, NC. He has attended Southeastern Baptist Theological Seminary and Fruitland Baptist Bible College for biblical studies. He also served in the United States Marine Corp and is a Purple Heart receipiant for wounds received in battle. Brandon recently served on the NC Baptist State Covention on the Commitee on Conventions, before coming to South Carolina. His passion and desire is to make Jesus famous to the world and minister to students through evangelism and discipleship.  He formally served at Calvary Baptist Church in Lincolnton, NC from 2008- 2012 before coming to Langston.

Brother Bruce began his service at Langston in June of 1999. He is a graduate of Southwestern Baptist Theological Seminary. He grew up in New Ellenton, S.C., where he received Christ at the age of 9.

Jonathan Gardner has been called to Langston as Associate and Worship Pastor. He began his service here on January 1, 2012.

"God led me to my first position of ministry at First Baptist Church, Jellico, Tennessee during my junior year at Cumberland College. Since then He has blessed and allowed me to serve as a Minister of Music in a part-time capacity for thirteen years and in full time ministry for sixteen years.

God has provided me with a unique and varied background in Christian music with experience in drama, lighting, use of sound reinforcement and multi-media.
